Comprehensive Estate Planning Solutions

Every individual’s estate planning needs are different. Some clients require a comprehensive trust-based approach, while others may benefit from a simpler will-based plan. TGA Law PLLC offers two primary estate planning solutions designed to provide flexibility and meaningful protection based on your circumstances.

Funded Revocable Living Trust Plan

A funded revocable living trust plan provides a comprehensive framework for managing and transferring assets during your lifetime and after your passing. This approach allows you to maintain control over your assets while creating a structured plan for their future distribution.

A complete funded revocable living trust plan includes a Revocable Living Trust, Pour-Over Will(s), and a supporting funding set designed to help align your assets with your estate plan.

The funding set may include documents such as a deed transfer, general assignment of personal property, trust certification, and funding memorandum. These supporting documents help establish the connection between your assets and your trust, which is an essential part of implementing a trust-based estate plan.

A properly prepared and funded revocable living trust may provide greater continuity in asset management, simplify administration after death, and help reduce unnecessary delays associated with transferring certain assets.

Will-Based Estate Plan

A will-based estate plan provides a straightforward approach for individuals who want to establish clear instructions for the distribution of their assets while incorporating protections for beneficiaries when appropriate.

This plan centers around a Contingent-Trust Will, which creates a testamentary trust that becomes effective upon death if certain conditions are met. This structure can provide additional protections for beneficiaries who may require continued asset management, including minor children or individuals who may benefit from trust-based oversight.

A will-based plan may be appropriate for individuals whose circumstances do not require a revocable living trust, but who still want a legally structured plan for their assets and beneficiaries.

Estate Planning Tailored to Your Circumstances

Effective estate planning requires understanding your family structure, assets, goals, and future concerns. A plan that works well for one person may not be appropriate for another.

Our estate planning services are designed to help clients address important considerations, including:

  • How assets should be managed during incapacity;

  • How property should be distributed after death;

  • How beneficiaries should receive inherited assets;

  • How ownership of assets should align with the estate plan; and

  • How existing plans should be updated as circumstances change.

Planning Today for Tomorrow’s Needs

Life changes, and your estate plan should evolve with it. Marriage, divorce, the birth of children, changes in financial circumstances, acquisition of significant assets, or changes in family relationships may require updates to your estate planning documents.

TGA Law PLLC works with clients to create and maintain estate plans that provide confidence, clarity, and a structured approach for the future.
