Tahir G. Ali is a corporate attorney based in Dallas, Texas, and the founding attorney of TGA Law PLLC. His practice focuses on business formation, corporate governance, commercial contracts, and transactional matters across a range of industries. Tahir advises entrepreneurs, privately held companies, and growing businesses through every stage of the business lifecycle—from formation and structuring to complex negotiations and strategic transactions.

Before founding TGA Law, Tahir practiced at two Am Law 100 firms, where he represented New York Stock Exchange–listed companies, Fortune 500 corporations, multinational enterprises, and leading financial institutions in transactions ranging from $60 million to over $600 million. His experience spans mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financing arrangements, and other complex commercial matters.

Tahir earned his J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he was on the Dean’s List, a Dean’s Scholarship recipient, and received multiple advocacy distinctions, including Best Oral Advocate at the 2020 1L Jackson Walker Moot Court Competition and Best Brief Winner and Runner-Up Best Oralist at the 2021 Mack Kidd Moot Court Competition. He also served on the Jackson Walker Brief Writing Committee.

He holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he was the youngest editor of the UCLA Undergraduate Law Journal. Prior to his undergraduate studies, Tahir lived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia where he attended the American International School of Jeddah for middle and high school.

Tahir is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Texas.
